What To Expect

On your first visit you will fill out some medical history forms. On subsequent visits this will not be necessary, unless there are some changes.

The massage therapist will then ask you some questions that are pertinent to the therapy that you are requesting. This may include where you are having problems and what type of massage you desire at this time.

You will be escorted to a dimly lit room that has soft music playing. You will be instructed on how to lie on the massage table. The massage therapist will leave the room so that you can undress, get on the massage table, and cover yourself with the sheet and blanket provided. The therapist will knock before entering the room.

When the massage therapist comes back into the room they will start the massage. Conversation is usually limited unless initiated by you, the client. Each massage will be tailored to a specific client's needs and desires. You will remain covered by the sheet and blanket during the entire massage and only the body parts that are being worked on will be exposed. At no time will genitals be exposed and at no time will breasts on women be exposed.

After the massage is complete, the therapist will leave the room and allow you to get dressed. Be sure to get off the table slowly.

After you are dressed the therapist will talk briefly with you about the session and future sessions if desired. The last thing you will do is offer payment.

Please be sure to get plenty of rest and clear fluids over the 24 hours following your massage.
